I first met my friend, Jenny, a few years ago when she contacted me for family photos. At that time, her little one, Piper, was just a baby. We had lots of common interests, and we clicked right away, and became fast friends. Jenny is a photographer, too, and I have had the pleasure of working with her collaboratively on several projects. green bay family photographer
This year, her family session had a little “someone” special waiting to make his arrival. Jenny is pregnant! We used her family session to incorporate some maternity photos as well. This baby is nothing short of a miracle for this family. I couldn’t be happier for them. Their godsend is even due Christmas Eve!
Jenny fell in love with this maternity gown, and we were determined to work it in to photographs. We pushed the fall season a little bit and the temperature was cold. The water was ever colder. But we were safe, and got these amazing shots.
When planning your family session, location plays a big part. For this session, Jenny knew that she wanted to be wearing the gown in water. So, we hunted down a few locations that would fit. The water at the original location was running really high, and I didn’t want to risk Jenny’s safety. So we traveled to this spot, and I’m glad we did. The fall colors were ablaze, and this popular spot was pretty low key this night.
